REFLECTION
Experience:
For this task, I used Photoshop as well, using masking and layer mask features, which allowed me to apply various colour adjustments. It was pretty fun, just like putting on make-up for the person, and it was a new experience for me.
Observation:
Through this exercise, I noticed that the masking layer helped me blend colours smoothly, and also adjusting the opacity of the layer added nice softer transitions in the image.
Findings:
I found that using layer masks for recoloring is versatile. They provided a lot of flexibility to test color combinations and switch tones without damaging the original layer. However, it takes a lot of patience to balance brush opacity to make the recoloring appear seamless, especially around edges. Overall, layer masks are a powerful tool for control over color and details.
