FEEDBACK

Progression & Reflection Link: Click [here]

Week 2:
Specific Feedback:
Looks okay although I do think for Dissertation, you have to elaborate the AI chatbot specific role in the respondents' usage towards it as currently it is generic and could be unclear. Since you have done the survey, you have to make do with the current data that you have.

Week 3:
Specific Feedback:
Overall the current literature review looks okay although I think you could expand it a little bit more on literature about perception and trust of AI since it formed part of your research question and objective. Instead of  writing “according to research (XXX)’. just write “According to XXX”. Reduce some of the words and make it straightforward.

Week 4:
Specific Feedback:
I think your analysis results of the survey should be written on the related question below. For the discussion, you don’t write the result like how many percentages of XXX,  you should answer all of your research questions and see how your literature review connected with the result.

Week 5:
Specific Feedback:
Looks okay but under the Discussion section, you could provide a little bit more discussion in answers to each and every of your research questions (which somewhat you are doing now)

Week 6:
Specific Feedback:
In 6.0 Conclusion you may also add suggestion for future research.

Week 7:
Specific Feedback:
You need to revise the sentences, it has much AI detection.

Week 9:
Specific Feedback:
All good now. AI detection below 20% already.

Week 10:
Specific Feedback:
Very well done. However, the Table of Content page are not aligned with the overall theme/styling. You can improve that part

Week 11:
Specific Feedback:

Week 12:
Specific Feedback:
The citations in your abstract doesn't have to be the same method; can mixed it by playing around with your writing. Methodology section is too long. Keep it shorter by shortening your 3rd and 4th paragraph in those section.

Week 14:
Specific Feedback:
Looks good.

REFLECTION

Experience:
This project was a long and challenging process, especially during Task 1, where we had to transfer the Design Research Methodology (DRM) into the DRD format. At the beginning, I think this part was quite difficult for me because I needed to translate DRM into a more organized and academic DRD format. It was not just copying information, is to rethinking the research flow, objectives, and how each stage connects to one another. I spent a lot of time revising and restructuring the content to make sure it was aligned with the research goals. After completing Task 1, I worked on revising the AI detection section. Compared to Task 1, Task 3 is more easier, creating the e-publication flipbook, which felt much more enjoyable because it focused more on layout design, visual flow, and presentation, which I felt more confident in. The final stage, writing the KREATE article, helped me reflect on the whole project and summaries the research.

Observation:
Throughout the project, I observed that research-based tasks needs a lot of patience and critical thinking. Transferring DRM to DRD showed me how important structure and clarity are in research writing. I also noticed that once the research foundation was strong, the design-related tasks became smoother and more efficient. Designing the e-publication felt more manageable because the content direction was already clear.

Findings:
From this project, I learned that research and design are strongly connected and support each other. A well-structured research process helps guide better design decisions, while good design helps communicate research more effectively. I also realized that research work takes time and patience, especially when refining and revising content. I would like to thank my lecturer, Mr. Asrizal, for being very patient and supportive in giving feedback throughout the process, which helped me improve my work significantly. Overall, this project helped me improve my research thinking, content organization, and confidence in handling both research and design tasks together.
